BMW has unveiled detailed miniatures of the BMW 3 Series Coupé, which capture
the technical finesse and stylish appearance of the original, ahead of the grown
up car’s first customer deliveries later this week.
The new 3 Series Coupé takes individual style to a whole new dimension and
this unmistakable design has been reproduced authentically in the miniatures
right down to the smallest detail.
The 1:18 scale model, for example, features characteristic details such as
trimmed front headlights and external mirrors designed specially for the Coupé.
The doors, boot and bonnet of this high-quality zinc die-cast model can also be
opened, offering a tantalising glimpse of the interior of the new 3 Series
Coupé.
The 1:43 scale miniature also offers a close view of the engine. The
perfectly-reproduced, flowing silhouette of the 3 Series Coupé conveys BMW’s
passion for dynamic driving even in miniature form.
Just four centimetres long yet still a true BMW, the detailed 1:87 scale
plastic model can also enthral its observers with elegance, style and panache.
The attractive colour variations of the painstakingly-designed 3 Series
miniatures are also unmistakably BMW: carmine red, sapphire black and space grey
make a big impression.
BMW fans inspired by the new 3 Series Coupé’s can purchase miniatures from
BMW dealers and on the Internet at www.bmw-shop.com.
The price of the 1:18 model is $115.00, the 1:43 version is $49.00 and the
1:87 model costs $35.00.
