More action is afoot with Getz, with Hyundai adding a dress-to-impress
SXi model variant to its popular light car range.
Getz SXi rolls out in style with sporty, five-blade 15” alloy wheels shod
with 185 / 55 lower profile tyres, a neat rear roof extension spoiler with
integrated brake light strip, circular front fog lights and SXi badging on the
rear hatch and rear side flanks.
Inside, a sassy red patterned twill fabric adorns the centre panels of the
otherwise charcoal seats and door trim inserts, a brushed alloy-look panel lifts
the centre dash fascia and door pull trim top inserts, chromed door latches look
and feel good and twin map lights are provided.
In the boot, an elastic cargo net stretches across the boot either as a flat
floor net or suspended as a hammock.
Getz SXi comes only as a three-door 1.6 litre hatch in three colours—Ebony
Black, Hip Hop Red and Midnight Grey.
Getz SXi manual is $16,490* and the automatic $18,380*, just $2000 more than
a standard Getz 1.6. The Midnight Grey SXi adds $275, being a mica paint finish.
The SXi’s ‘donor car’, Getz 1.6 three-door, is the reigning ‘Australia’s Best
Small Car’ as judged by the road test experts’ combined votes of the motoring
service clubs like the NRMA and the Royal Auto Clubs in all states.
