Three months into 2005 and Honda has set another new sales record for the third
successive month.
After record sales of 3,556 in January and 3,883 in February, Honda broke
through the 4,000 sales barrier for the first time selling a total of 4,068
units in March.
This represents an increase of 1,242 units (30%), over the corresponding
month last year and gives Honda sales of 11,507 units for the first quarter, up
by 2,682 units (23%), for the same period last year.
Honda Australia Senior Director, Lindsay Smalley, couldn’t contain his
delight with the result; “Breaking through the 4,000 unit milestone is a
momentous achievement and I would like to thank Honda Australia staff and our
dealer network for an outstanding team effort.”
“This result puts us well on target to achieve our sales goal of 41,000
units.”
